We are a community of Southern Baptist congregations proclaiming Christ in the Tennessee counties of Macon, Sumner and Trousdale and in the world.
Our slogan, Assisting Churches – Advancing the Gospel, is more than just a catchy phrase. We hope that it gives you insight into just who we are. We provide training opportunities for member churches and coordinate community ministries and mission projects. We promote encouragement and Christian camaraderie among our membership.
Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and at Bledsoe Baptist Association we desire to do the same. That’s why we have a place for everyone to minister to others through numerous service opportunities.
We want you to be a part of the blessings of God. We’ll bring you updates often on just what’s happening at Bledsoe Baptist Association and share the stories of how Christ is making a difference in people’s lives.
Office Hours: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Meet our staff

Dr. Lloyd Stilley, Mission Strategist and Leeanne Stilley, Ministry Assistant
Lloyd and Leeanne came to the Association in April, 2022. They were in Pastoral Ministry for 35 years in Louisiana (Providence Baptist Church/4 years and Waller Baptist Church/8 years), and Alabama (First Baptist Gulf Shores/17 years and Jasper’s First Baptist Church/6 years).
Lloyd grew up in Shreveport, LA, and he met Leeanne in college in Chattanooga, TN, where Leeanne was raised. They were married in 1983 and soon afterwards moved to Ft. Worth, Texas, where Lloyd attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He received a Master’s Degree in Theology in 1987. While they were in Ft. Worth, their first son, Joey, was born.
Upon graduation the Stilleys began full-time pastoral ministry in Louisiana. During the 4 years they were there, their second son, Craig, was born.
While pastoring at First Baptist Church of Gulf Shores, Lloyd received his Doctor of Ministry at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in May, 2013.
God has taught them many things during the 35 years of ministry. Their hearts are for pastors/wives, evangelism and missions, church planting, VBS, drama and music, and just loving on the many churches that God has placed in their care in the Bledsoe Baptist Association.
They bought a new home in Castalian Springs last year and they love living in that beautiful farming community in the country. Their grown sons and wives live in Birmingham, AL, where Lloyd and Leeanne love to visit often to see them and their two darling grandchildren.
You can reach Lloyd at lloydstilley.ams@gmail.com and Leeanne at bledsoe.baptist@comcast.net.
